2025: A Stand-Out Year for Fflamingo and House of Deviant

It’s been an incredible year for The House of Deviant - our inclusive drag-theatre ensemble leading the way for disability-led performance in Wales.

We began with an R&D of SPACK the Musical in collaboration with Vaguely Artistic, Hijinx, Sherman Theatre and Gagglebabble, bringing together a powerhouse of creative partners to explore new, unapologetically bold work.

The Autumn we hit the stage three times, starting with SLAYANCE at The Muni, which drew fantastic audiences for its first ever performance. This will be followed by two Christmas shows: a festive concert with Vaguely Artistic at the Wales Millennium Centre and our own outrageously camp panto, Dick Twittington, at The Riverfront.

Together, these projects show a growing appetite for disability-led work on professional stages.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s supported, partnered, and cheered us on this year. The future looks bright, bold and beautifully deviant.
